Back Porch Tour
Designed for our seniors with limited mobility, this program allows them to have a taste of the Battleship without coming aboard. Our senior guests will view the 10-minute introductory film in the Visitor Center Auditorium. Following the movie, they will have a guided tour of the Visitor Center Exhibit Hall which features models of the four US Navy and one Confederate Navy ships named North Carolina. They will then go to the Ship's Observation Deck where they can sit in chairs, look at the Ship, and engage with a guide who will discuss the Ship and answer questions. Program must be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance. Please call 910-251-5797 for your reservation.
