Battleship Easter Egg Hunt::

There's something new happening this spring at the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA: an Easter Egg Hunt with lots of fun & games along with the hunt.

This event will take place on Good Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Battleship Park. Program times are 9:30 am, 11:30 am, and 2:00 pm. This event is for children ages 2-9 years old.

It is $5 per child and pre-registration is required. Please call (910) 251-5797 to register. This is sure to be a popular event so register now to ensure your space.

This event will include games and activities along with the egg hunt including musical chairs, a bean-bag toss, “Pin the Tail” on the Easter Bunny, a bunny hop, and Easter crafts. Children will be divided into two groups: 2-5 year olds and 6-9 year olds for both the games and the egg hunt.

The egg hunt activity will not be just your regular hunt. Programs Director Danielle Wallace explains, “I wanted the children to be challanged during their hunt. So, I have made it so that when a whistle blows, it will signal for the children to either hop, skip, or run for the hidden eggs.”

The games and activities will be set up as stations with the children rotating between them. The event will be an hour long and everyone is encouraged to bring their cameras and baskets.
