Ghost Ship Opens October 16th
on the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA
The Ghosts Don’t Care How Loud You Scream!
October 16, 23, 24 and 30
7:00pm - 10:00pm

WILMINGTON, NC - The Battleship NORTH CAROLINA premieres Ghost Ship, Eastern North Carolina’s only haunted battleship! The hatches will be cracking open on October 16th! "With all new and unique designs and scares, all who enter this truly frightful attraction will experience a new dimension of scare," says Promotions Director, Heather Loftin. Loftin also notes that this year, Ghost Ship’s main goal will be to attack every possible fear and to exploit as many senses as possible. "We plan to scare you from all angles and you will NOT be safe from fear even if you are standing in the middle of your group."

Ghost Ship opens the hatches on October 16th and runs on October 23, 24 and 30. The Haunted Ship will begin selling tickets at 6:30 pm each night and will run until 10:00. Tickets are limited and available for $10 each night at the door. It is not for the faint of heart and not recommended for young children. A complete schedule of dates and times is available on the website.

Ghost Ship makes each of the scares memorable and original by exploiting multiple senses and by not letting patrons orient themselves inside the haunt. Danielle Wallace, Programs Director, also explains that "nothing is more disappointing than walking through a haunted house only to recognize some of the same rooms and props from the year before. We have relished in the senses and promise to scare even the less timid at heart. At Ghost Ship we decided to utilize what already exists, being the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA, and focused on the depths of the ship. Where else can you go below decks for the fright of your life?" Loftin says, "The goal is to implant fear and scare you to death! We think you will agree."
