Museum - Artwork

Works in oil, watercolor, pastels, pen and ink and pencil including two oil paintings of the Armored Cruiser NORTH CAROLINA (ACR-12) and a unique reverse painting on glass of the Ship-of-the-Line NORTH CAROLINA. Artistic renderings of the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA include: "Escort to Danger," by William J. Reynolds, "Rescue at Truk," by Robert C. Sherry, "The Fighting Carolina," by Tom Freeman, and a pen and ink cutaway of the Battleship by Tom Freeman. The collection also includes illustrations and cartoons by crew members depicting life onboard the Battleship during World War II.
