Objective

Student will develop an expressive/creative writing sample that is centered on the Battleship NC.

Activities/Procedures

Student will plan and write an expressive writing sample centered on the Battleship NC theme using their choice of genre to include:

Narrative, Poem, Journal Entry, news story, speech, Interview, and any other creative writing.

Suggested Prompt:

Pretend that you are the Battleship NC and you are writing the life story of what you have experience and seen during WWII and your time in the Pacific theater.

Student could write a song or poem as a tribute to the battleship.
