Mapping Historical Data II

Subject: Social Studies - Grade Level: 9-12

Objective

Student will be able to demonstrate the ability to find important areas within the Pacific Theater of operations and events participated in by the Battleship NC by means of using longitude and latitude on a map.

Materials

• Pacific theater map of WWII
• World map atlas

Activities/Procedures

Student will label each key area that Battleship NC was involved in within the Pacific Theater with the correct longitude and latitude.

Assessment

Teacher evaluation of student map with latitude and longitude degrees indicated.
