Subject: Social Studies - Grade Levels: 9-12


Objective

Student will demonstrate the ability to find important areas within the Pacific Theater of operations and events participated in by the USS North Carolina by using longitude and latitude on a map.

Materials

  • Pacific Theater Map of World War II
  • World Map
  • World Atlas

Activities/Procedures

Student will label each key area that USS North Carolina was involved in within the Pacific Theater with correct longitude and latitude identification.

Assessment

The teacher evaluation of student map with longitude and latitude degrees indicated.
